I have a very sunny window and part of my carpet faded. Can that be fixed?

Yes, and the good news is we only have to re-dye the affected area. All carpets fade about 4% to 8% each year. And sunlight isnt the only culprit. Ozone, airborne fragrances, cooking chemicals, harsh cleaning chemicals, artificial lighting, pesticides, and even fumes from swimming pool, spa and household chemicals can cause carpet color to fade.

Pet stains usually don't "remove" color, but the chemicals used to remove the pet stains often do. Many famously advertised products will slowly fade the color out of the treated area. The consumer product OxyClean and Resolve are the ones we are most often called about to "fix" the missing color. The color loss doesn't fade out immediately, it's a slow process - sometimes days or weeks later before the homeowner discovers the "bleached out" or color loss areas.
